About Us
Lori started Three Hawks Listening Services in 2022 after observing in her speech pathology practice how people opened up and their demeanor transformed when they realized they were actually going to be listened to and treated like they are important, a rarity in the modern healthcare industry. Wishing to no longer be shackled by the constraints of the healthcare world, she sought a path to provide people with the support that they need to develop a feeing of worth and security .

The name "Three Hawks" was the natural result of an experience she had one day when the screech of a hawk got her attention. It persisted until finally she looked out her second story window to see if she could find the source of the screeching. Looking out straight into the branches of a tree, she saw not only the screeching hawk land in one of its branches, but she saw two others perched on branches as well. Symbolically, hawks are seen as an inspiration for those seeking to be their best selves. In addition, they are thought to be an encouragement to take big leaps and to pursue an extension of one's sphere of influence. They are a confirmation that one is headed in the right direction and should persevere. Looking at three hawks at once, one of which had seemed insistent on getting attention, was a moment of revelation and inspiration.
About Lori
Professional Listener
Lori has a long history of listening experience, from being a mother, a friend, daughter, speech pathologist, and a life coach. She has learned compassion and setting aside judgment from her own personal life experience and truly has a gift of connecting with others in a one-on-one setting. Lori is passionate about providing support and compassion to others.

Lori received her B.A. in Communication Disorders from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. She is credentialed as a speech-language pathologist through ASHA and as a life coach through IAPRC as a Professional Coach. She has worked in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and distance consulting. Lori now resides in central Texas and has two grown sons.
